Shipping
Free express shipping is via DHL courier services.
For Italy, orders will be delivered within 1-2 working days of leaving the warehouse; for European and non-European countries orders will be delivered within 3-4 working days of leaving the warehouse. All orders are delivered from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. Alfredo Rifugio Srl shall not be held responsible for any problems encountered with the courier delivery service.
For shipments to building receptions (with the receptionist signing on receipt of delivery), Alfredo Rifugio Srl shall not be held responsible if the package is not delivered to the end recipient. If a country of destination is not included in the list, this means that the items cannot be shipped to that country.
When the order is delivered, the customer is required to check:
- that the number of packages corresponds to the number indicated in the transport document;

If the customer discovers that the packaging and/or the product is damaged or the number of packages does not correspond to the transport document, they must indicate this immediately on the transport document and return this document to the courier.
If there are problems with the physical integrity of the products, if the products do not match those ordered or if there are any missing products, such issues must be raised within 14 days from the date of receipt (except for customized products) line with the modalities specified in the present document.

Shipping times
For Italy, orders will be delivered within 1-2 working days of leaving the warehouse; for European and non-European countries orders will be delivered within 3-5 working days of leaving the warehouse. If your shipment is late, it could be due to one of the following reasons: temporary unavailability of the items, a problem with the courier's service, force majeure, or bank holidays. If payment has been made via credit card or Paypal, it could also be because we have been unable to collect the sum authorised at the time of payment. The shipping times indicated by Alfredo Rifugio Srl are provided as a guide only: if the shipment arrives after these times or if the order is delivered in several shipments, this does not give the customer the right to refuse the delivery or to request a reimbursement or compensation.
Customs duties and taxes
Alfredo Rifugio Srl ships to the European Union, the USA and Switzerland on a DDP (delivery duty paid) basis. This means that all applicable taxes and duties are included in the final purchase price and there are no additional costs for delivery. For deliveries requested in all other countries, any import customs fees will be charged to the recipient. Customs duties and taxes vary depending on the country of destination and are applied when the goods arrive in said country: the customer is therefore advised to contact the customs authority in their country in advance to check the costs and any possible import restrictions.
If the goods are refused by the customer or they miss the delivery for any other reason (e.g. incorrect recipient address/telephone number; repeated absence of the recipient, etc.) the recipient shall be billed for the following costs: shipment of goods + returning of goods + customs for the returning of goods. The customer will however be reimbursed for the cost of the goods.
