Shipping Information
All orders are delivered with free express shipping via an Express courier services.
For all items that are in stock:
Orders from Italy: orders will be delivered within 1-2 working days from the time they leave the warehouse.
Orders from the European Union and NON-European countries: orders will be delivered within 3-4 working days from the time they leave the warehouse.
For all MTO items:
We craft every single item exclusively for you. Therefore, the production time takes approx. 15 working days. Please check the current status on the product detail page. Once your personal garment is produced, the delivery terms are the following by our express courier:
Orders from Italy: orders will be delivered within 1-2 working days from the time they leave the warehouse.
Orders from the European Union and NON-European countries: orders will be delivered within 3-4 working days from the time they leave the warehouse.
All orders are delivered from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. Alfredo Rifugio Srl shall not be held responsible for any problems encountered with the courier delivery service.
For shipments to building receptions (with the receptionist signing on receipt of delivery), Alfredo Rifugio Srl shall not be held responsible if the package is not delivered to the end recipient. If a country of destination is not included in the list, this means that the items cannot be shipped to that country.
When the order is delivered, the customer is required to check:
- That the number of packages corresponds to the number indicated in the transport document.
- That the packaging is intact and not damaged, wet, or altered in any way, including the fastening (adhesive tape or metal).
If the customer discovers that the packaging and/or the product is damaged or the number of packages does not correspond to the transport document, they must indicate this immediately on the transport document and return this document to the courier.
If there are problems with the physical integrity of the products, if the products do not match those ordered, or if there are any missing products, such issues must be raised within 14 days from the date of receipt (except for customized products) in line with the modalities specified in the present document.
Shipping Times Information
For Italy, orders will be delivered within 1-2 working days from the time they leave the warehouse. For European and non-European countries, orders will be delivered within 3-4 working days from the time they leave the warehouse. If your shipment is delayed, it could be due to one of the following reasons: temporary unavailability of the items, a problem with the courier's service, force majeure, or bank holidays. If payment has been made via credit card or PayPal, it could also be due to an inability to collect the sum authorized at the time of payment. If you still have not received your order within 4 working weeks (excluding Saturdays and Sundays), please email info@alfredorifugio.com.
The shipping times indicated by Alfredo Rifugio Srl are provided as a guide only: if the shipment arrives after these times or if the order is delivered in several shipments, this does not give the customer the right to refuse the delivery or to request a reimbursement or compensation.
Customs Duties and Taxes
EU Shipments
Alfredo Rifugio Srl charges the local VAT for shipments to the European Union. No further customs duties or taxes will be incurred by the recipient.
Non-EU Shipments
Alfredo Rifugio Srl sells to all Non-EU customers at the net price. For deliveries outside the European Union, the recipient is responsible for paying all customs duties and taxes. These charges vary depending on the destination country and are applied when the goods arrive in the country. Customers are advised to contact their local customs office in advance to determine any potential costs and import restrictions.
If the goods are refused by the customer or they miss the delivery for any other reason (e.g., incorrect recipient address/telephone number; repeated absence of the recipient, etc.), the recipient shall be billed for the following costs: shipment of goods + returning of goods + customs for the returning of goods. The customer will, however, be reimbursed for the cost of the goods.
